Idea to upload, Handymakes tells appealing visual stories.
The Handymakes team loves storytelling, and visual storytelling is one of the most fun and compelling ways to do that. Our original video work combines a bit of sass, a dash of geeky humor, and a lot of high-quality production in story shorts. But that's just what we like! We have an ever-growing roster of video projects, and we'd love to add your unique story to the mix.

Good Morning, Multiverse! is an ongoing series of public access-style shorts heavy on references from the amazing multiverse of geeky fantasy, sci fi, and gaming fandoms.
The Handymakes team developed the concept, wrote the script, produced the narration, and performed the sound engineering. Our collaborator Joël Bellucci at PixelPresto created the wonderful design and motion graphics. Check out other installments on YouTube |

Date Night was our entry for the 100 Hour Film Race 2015. Our team had never tried a film competition before, so, of course, we immediately wanted to do it. In 100 hours, we had to create an original, five-minute short that incorporated a surprise theme (mistaken identity), prop (a mask), and action (drinking from a straw). Our team handled ideation, script writing, location scouting, casting, prop-making and wrangling, shooting, crew caffeinating, sound engineering, editing, and final production. With 87 minutes to spare!

Nerdinol is a gently satirical short that blends praise of nerd culture with a poke at pharmaceutical ads. This first spot was developed specifically for the 80,000 attendees at Dragon Con (yes, we were some of them!), and premiered on their in-house channel, DCTV.
The Handymakes team handled everything, from initial idea through script, photography, editing, narration, logo, and final production. Check out Nerdinol on YouTube See more from DCTV |
